Albuquerque has some amazing romantic ideas for Valentine's day, and the list keeps getting bigger. Routes Rentals & Tours has announced they'll be offering Valentine's bike dates. How cool is that? If you're tired of the same old chocolate and flowers routine, you can either book a professionally guided tour that comes with wine tasting, or take a self-guided bike date, which is a tour that comes with prepared picnic, wine tasting and/or chocolates.
The Singles Tasting & Tour is something you can do on your own or with friends. The Paseo del Bosque and St. Claire Winery tour takes in a leisurely ride along the bosque, ending at sunset at the St. Claire Winery & Bistro. There are two dates to choose from for this tour: February 11 or 25, starting at 2 p.m. Cost for the 1.5-2 hour ride is $25 per person with bike rental, or $15 per person if you bring your own.
The Couples Tasting & Tour is a professionally guided tour along the Paseo del Bosque river trail. On a bike wrapped in red lights, you'll take a leisurely ride along the river, then enjoy sunset from the St. Claire Winery & Bistro, where you'll sample wines. How romantic is that? The tours are on February 12 and 26, starting at 2 p.m. The 1.5 to 2 hour ride is $50 per couple, which includes bike rental. If you want to bring your own bike, it's $30 per couple.
Or take your own, self-guided tour and make it a Valentine Bike Date. There are several options to choose from, such as the tour to Casa Rodena Winery, Picnic in the Park and Paseo del Bosque to TIngley Beach. Customize your day out with a packed picnic basket or chocolates. It's all fun.
