Fractals Rock!
The third Friday of every month head to the Natural History Museum's planetarium for the rocking fractals show. Shows are at 6, 7 and 8 p.m. on Friday, June 15; this is an all ages show. Doors open at 5:15 p.m.
Salsa Under the Stars - Calle 66
Calle 66 is a native New Mexican salsa band that plays contemporary salsa. Hear them at the Albuquerque Museum on Friday, June 15. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for the 7 p.m. show.
Festival Flamenco Internacional de Albuquerque 2012
On Friday June 15 and Saturday, June 16, Fiesta Flamenca features shows with Yjastros, the American Flamenco Repertory Company, Pastora Galvan, Adela Capallo and others. See the show at the National Hispanic Cultural Center.
Samantha Martin and the Acro-Cats
Martin's January shows at the Cell Theatre sold out quickly and these will likely do the same. The Chicago troupe of cats will ride skateboards, roll barrels, ring bells, walk tight ropes, and more. Catch the show at the Cell through June 21.
Sagebrush Auto Show
Does Dad love cars? There will be more than 200 classic cars, antique tractors, hot rods, custom cars, and motorcycles and a 1964 Mustang is up for raffle at the Sagebrush Community Church on Saturday, June 16 and Sunday, June 17. Events, food and drinks are free
Hammers and Hooves Horse Fair & World Blacksmith Championship
Over 40 blacksmiths from all over the United States will compete in making horseshoes. The season opener of the chuckwagon barbecue is on June 16 and features live entertainment. Suppers are an additional charge. June 15 - 17.
Summerfest Centennial Celebration
The Summerfest season kicks off with a special Centennial event. Downtown Central Avenue will be blocked off from 3rd to 8th Streets and packed with multiple stages, vendors, food, music, and a whole lot of fun. A car show will be part of the Route 66 theme, and historic re-enactments and talks will take place at Robinson Park. It's happening June 16.
14th Annual NM Tap Dance Jam

Women's Voices Sing the Great American Songbook
Hear Hillary Smith, Sarah Rebello Amaral, Jackie Zamora and Patty Stephens sing at this always sold out annual show. Purchase tickets by 2 p.m. June 15 for the June 16 show; otherwise, purchase them at the door at the Albuquerque Museum. Doors open at 6 p.m. for the 7 p.m. show.

Friends of Corrales Library Father's Day Concert and Picnic
The Corrales Library in La Entrada Park will feature the music of The Buckarettes and Le Chat Lunatique on Sunday, June 17, beginning at 5 p.m. Bring a blanket and picnic. Admission is free.
Father's Day Fiesta at the Zoo
Take the family and some blankets to the zoo and enjoy the Latin music. There will be special exhibits and prize giveaways. Visit the zoo from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to learn about animals as part of the zoo's Summer Discovery Days. It's all included with regular admission.

Cause of the Week
Father's Day 5k Run/Walk
Get outdoors with dad and help raise money at the same time for the Thirst Project, which provides wells and clean water to Ugandan villages. There will be individual age group competitions, or the chance to walk/jog 3.1 miles at your own pace. It's happening Father's Day, Sunday, June 17.
