The festival brings together artists and craftsmen in one huge event. Find handmade gifts, the perfect lamp for your home, and so much more. See artists at work, demonstrations, and take the kids to the creation station. Runs March 9 - 11.
Stones in His Pockets
The Aux Dog Theatre's show is part of the Southwest Irish Theater Festival. A small town in rural County Kerry, Ireland is turned upside down when a film crew comes to town. Runs weekends through March 25.
Dancing Earth: Night of StarsMoonWater
Twelve Native American artists perform works of dance, poetry in the first festival of indigenous arts. March 9 and 10.
Red Star Army Chorus and Dance Ensemble
Hear traditional folk songs of Russia, along with Russian music and dance. March 10 at Popejoy Hall.
Rubber Stamp Show
Vendors will be on hand to demonstrate their stamps and stamping supplies. The weekend includes classes and demonstrations as well as door prizes. Tickets can be purchased ahead at China Phoenix 2 and Rubber Stamp Events. Takes place at New Mexico Expo March 10 and 11.
New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science
Check out the new 3-D show at the museum's DynaTheater: The Last Reef: Cities Beneath the Sea. Go on Sunday, March 11, when it's Solar Sunday, and see the sun through a large (safe) telescope, and enjoy bilingual activities for the whole family. Solar activities are included in admission price.
