The weather is supposed to be fine all weekend, so consider helping at the Great Backyard Bird Count on Sunday. Heads up if you want to participate, as today is the last day to register. Burque Bop: The Joneses
Enjoy family-friendly live music in a setting that invites dancing, mingling and community. The Joneses play vintage, old style country music with harmonies. Two food trucks will be on site--The Zingaro for dinner and Oz Patisserie for dessert.

KlezmerQuerque
The 10th annual KlezmerQuerque is a festival of concerts, workshops and dance parties over the three day President's day weekend. Enjoy the traditional dance and music of the eastern European Jews--klezmer. Dances are led by Bruce Bierman and Rikud. Friday evening February 17: Der Freylekher Shabbes (Joyous Shabbat) featuring Klez-Q guest artists plus cantorial soloist Beth Cohen, the Nahalat Shalom Klezmer band and more.

CARNAVAL
The annual celebration of CARNAVAL continues with music and dance that features the Odara Dance Ensemble and the musical group PANdemonium. This year's performance features the CARNAVAL celebrations of Cuba, Trinidad, Brazil and New Orleans.

The Drowsy Chaperone
The comic musical opens this weekend and plays through March 11. The play features mistaken identities, dream sequences, spit takes and much more for this musical within a play set in a 1928 show. all 898-9222 to reserve.

Masters of Motown

Great Backyard Bird Count
Bring your binoculars and join the nationwide Great Backyard Bird Count. Volunteers will look for migratory birds and add the information to the Cornell Lab of Ornithology. To attend please call the BioPark Education office at 505-848-7180 and RSVP by Friday February 17. On Saturday please check-in at the Tingley Beach Train Depot to obtain data collection materials. For Sunday's gathering please check-in at the Botanic Garden gates.
