Territorial Days in Chama
The three day event runs June 29-July 1 in the village of Chama. Celebrate the old west by wearing western clothing or period gear. There will be kids' activities, historic reenactments, blacksmiths, horse training, a tent city and more. Take a ride on the Cumbres and Toltec scenic railroad to get a real flavor for the times.

Children of Time
The New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science will feature the book "Children of Time: Evolution and the Human Story," on Sunday, July 1. Each chapter in the book is about a child fossil ranging in age from 2.5 to 13,000 years old. There will be storytelling and family activities, and a booksigning as well.

Cause of the Week

An Evening of Music with Gustavo Pimentel
Classical guitarist Gustavo Pimentel will perform with Ryan Christopher Montano and his smooth jazz band. The orchestra will be led by Gabriel Gordon, who conducts the Albuquerque Youth Symphony orchestra. The concert benefits the Gynecological Cancer Awareness Project, directly assisting women with this type of cancer. The performance takes place at the National Hispanic Cultural Center Friday, June 29.
