Know a teen or young person looking for a summer job? The City of Albuquerque is hiring for the summer. Jobs include lifeguarding at the pools, handing out lunches at parks, doing clerical work in an office, and more. Applicants should be 16 years of age; anyone 14 or 15 who is hired would be required to have a work permit.
Jobs pay $7.50 to $11 an hour, depending on the position and the applicant's qualifications.
Bernalillo county is also looking for lifeguards for its pools.
And Rio Rancho is looking for seasonal workers to lifeguard, cashier and more.
Teens can also volunteer to be Camp Counselors with the Albuquerque BioPark.
