The New Mexico Philharmonic's season continues on January 28, with a concert featuring the works of Dvorak. The orchestra has also announced a series of PULSE concerts that feature a combination of classical music with electronics and visuals. The first PULSE concert will take place Sunday, February 12 at the KiMo Theatre. There will be two showtimes, at 4 p.m. and 6:15 p.m., to appeal to a younger audience.
The concert features the work of French filmmaker Francois Pain, whose short Art Films will display while musicians play the music of American composer Mark Mellits. Kevin Gallagher will be guest guitarist, and the orchestra will feature members of the Philharmonic.
Tickets are on sale now at the KiMo box office, or online.
