Season and single tickets for the New Mexico Philharmonic Pops Series are now available for purchase. The Pops series begins with a tribute to Benny Goodman on September 8, followed by "Holiday Joy" in Popejoy Hall on December 15. Mayor Berry will narrate the poem "Twas the Night Before Christmas" at that special event. On October 13 at the Kiva, Dan Kamin the mime will be featured in an evening of music and comedy, "Charlie Chaplin at the Symphony." Other concerts include a Valentine's concert with Broadway star Anne Hampton Callaway and a musical tribute to ABBA.
Subscribers to the five concerts receive a 10% discount, and tickets are available singly as well. Tickets are also available for the Classic concert series and the Sundays Afternoons at the National Hispanic Cultural Center series.
