Mesa del Sol has announced its Grand Opening for Saturday, March 31. The master planned green community has seven model homes open for viewing, along with celebrations, food and fun.
There will be a container gardening demonstration, a free golf clinic, a composting workshop, and even a visit from Orbit, the Albuquerque Isotopes mascot. At 11:30 a.m., the Watermelon Mountain Jug Band will be performing on the Plaza, and at 3:30 p.m., Bella Luna will perform. Administrators from the International School will be on hand to talk about Mesa del Sol's charter school.
In addtion to the seven homes you can tour, there will be information about the community in the Info Gallery. There will be lemonade stands, street buskers, and even bicycle carriage rides around the neighborhood.
